Questions after this reading:
- Is there some way we can genetically modify a plant to help with deadlier diseases such as cancer, HIV, etc.
Next time I'm buying organic I will look at the label to see if there is more information on their methods
Interesting question. I've never heard of plants being genetically modified to help with diseases of this sort. If anything, I'd imagine that approach would be more effective with diseases like diabetes or thyroid problems, where the body is lacking in something that could be delivered through ingestion. They have used bacteria as delivery agents for some diseases. Bacteria are easier because they have DNA floating around without the protection of a nucleus.
